I'm a hobbyist network engineer and I proudly operate AS198383 for personal and educational purposes.
That means I have a unique identifier for my network on the internet, my own IP address space and routing policy.
It's a cool way to learn about networking and routing on the internet.
My ASN is the first one in Kerala, India to be registered by an individual.
We are also IPv6 only, which is the latest version of the internet protocol.
IPv6 allows for more devices to connect to the internet and has better security features than IPv4.
I do this for fun and learning, and I'm always looking for new peers and challenges.
